Project Objective

To mitigate human-wildlife conflict through innovative solutions that protect elephants, empower communities, and promote coexistence.

Implementation Highlights

  • Establishing rapid response units to address elephant encroachment in real time. 
  • Deploying thermal drones for night-time monitoring of elephant movement.
  • Training and equipping local rangers and game scouts
  • Engaging communities through education and sustainable livelihood programs.

Why It Matters

Human-elephant conflict is one of the most pressing conservation challenges, leading to loss of life for both humans and wildlife. By addressing this issue, we contribute to: 

  •  SDG 15 (Life on Land): Protecting terrestrial ecosystems and preventing biodiversity loss. 
  •  SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities): Promoting harmonious coexistence between people and wildlife.
